Birders in Guatemala have long suffered for lack of accurate, complete, region-specific checklists. GBRC took on the challenge to improve this situation. Besides offering standard checklists that serve many popular birding sites such as Tikal, Sierra de las Minas and Biotopo El Quetzal, GBRC has also developed advanced checklists for three key regions: the Western Highlands (282 species and 51 families and subfamilies); the Pacific Coast Foothills (381 species and 58 families and subfamilies); and the Pacific Coast Lowlands (379 species and 62 families and subfamilies).
